Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026
1. Who we are
Liberia Agriculture Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) grows, mills, and sells rice in Liberia, and operates this website to sell rice to customers and to work with farmers, transporters, and distributors. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms.
2. Your account
When you place your first order or reservation we create an account tied to your email so you can track your orders. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you believe it has been used without your permission.
3. Orders for in-stock rice
Rice shown as in stock can be purchased directly. When you pay in full, your order is confirmed automatically, the stock is reserved for you, and you receive a receipt. Because payment completes the sale, a paid order cannot be cancelled online. Contact us if there is a problem and we will help.
4. Reservations & requests (out-of-stock rice)
Rice we do not currently hold can be reserved with no payment. A reservation is a request, not a confirmed sale: our team confirms availability and the final price, then contacts you to complete it. We may decline or adjust a reservation where stock, quality, or pricing require it.
5. Prices & payment
Prices are set by us and shown on the site. The amount you pay is always calculated by us on our servers from our current prices. The price your order is charged is the authoritative one. We accept Mobile Money (and other methods we may add). Rice is generally exempt from sales tax in Liberia; where any tax applies it is shown separately.
6. Pickup & delivery
You may collect your order at the warehouse it ships from, or ask us to arrange delivery. Delivery timing and any transport cost are confirmed with you. Risk in the rice passes to you on collection or delivery. Please check your order on receipt and raise any issue with us promptly.
7. Farmers, transporters & distributors
If you apply to sell rice to us, carry rice for us, or distribute on our behalf, additional separate agreements govern that relationship. Applying through the site is an expression of interest and does not by itself create a binding supply, transport, or distribution contract.
8. Quality & our responsibility
We work to deliver good, locally-processed rice. To the extent permitted by law, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have that cannot be excluded under Liberian law.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site: no fraud, no interfering with its operation or security, and no using it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; the current version always lives on this page. Questions? Email info@peoplerice.com. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia.
